From Hobbyist to CEO Status
Sure, entrepreneurship looks cute, but after a while, the shine wears off and you have to roll up your sleeves and actually start doing the work. And that means running your business as a business from day one, way before you even start making a profit. The work I’m talking about isn’t just the business side of things but it starts with your mindset.
Your mindset determines every action you take. Learn to let go of who you were and learn to say hello to all the things that will make you feel uncomfortable. That’s the difference between wanting to become an entrepreneur and actually being one.
Here are some mindset practices that can help you make that shift:
Create aligned mantras/affirmations and visualizations that you lean into daily; your words create your reality so make sure they’re matching what you’re trying to achieve
Create your money manifesto; this acts as a guiding light for your life and business
For the business side of things:
Operate like a CEO from day one - that means managing your business finances on a regular basis not just close to tax time and becoming aware of what money is actually coming in and out of your business
Reevaluate things you invested in, like business programs and coaches to see if they are in fact returning an investment instead of having a negative impact on your business and bottom line
I discuss these and other powerful tools in making the transition to becoming a true business owner on the No Boss of Me podcast with Lianne Hannaway.
WE TALK ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND, HOW TO ADDRESS THE TRICKY SUBJECT OF PRICING AND THE BE, DO, HAVE PRINCIPLE.
